Look Gorgeous, Feel Gorgeous!

Many of us get so busy in the hustle and bustle of our lives that we miss out the pampering we need. Like our body needs food, our skin also needs regular tonics to look and feel gorgeous. I am not talking about spending hours at expensive salons and wasting money. The quick and easy recipes are in your kitchen.

I have sensitive skin and thus I stay away from all sorts of chemical products and cosmetics. Here are some secrets to feel the change which I have experienced.

FIRST thing you need is ‘PATIENCE’. Yes! Lots of patience because things will not change overnight but IN SHA ALLAH they will.


YOUR GOAL: ‘LOOK GORGEOUS, FEEL GORGEOUS!’


 

1. DIET

What you eat reflects on your skin. So start eating healthy. Strict NO NO to junk food! I would personally advice you to include an apple, a banana and a glass of milk in your everyday diet. Start slow but be regular. Don’t miss out! Remember this is your everyday tip to look and feel gorgeous.

2. WATER

Drink at least nine to ten glasses of water everyday. It sounds so simple, yet it is so difficult. Isn’t it?

I have a tip for you. Grab your favorite water bottle when you sit in front of TV or Computer and keep sipping.  It will take less than 30 minutes to finish four glasses of water.

Now it sounds simple and it is simple!

3. EGG WHITE & HONEY MASK

Most of us step back when we hear about using eggs. Same happened with me before I recently used it for the first time a day before Eid. I couldn’t believe I was glowing.

Mix an egg white and a tablespoon of honey. Apply it on your face and neck and wash it after 20-25 minutes and you are glow. This mask can be used ones or twice a month.

 

 

 

 

 


4. OATS AND LEMON MASK

Take a spoon full of oats and cook it for a minute or two in water. Pour it in a small bowl, let it cool and squeeze a lemon in it. Apply it on your face and neck and wash it after 15 – 20 minutes - It works!

 


5. Got dark circles? Don’t panic!

LEMON AND CUCUMBER JUICE / POTATO JUICE

Mix equal amount of lemon and cucumber juice and apply it under your eyes everyday for 15-20 minutes. Then wash it off with cold water. Alternatively you can also apply potato juice and wash it off after 15 – 20 minutes with cold water.

Be patient! It will work.

IMPORTANT: Don’t skip your sound sleep!


 

6. DETOX WATER

How do you start your day? The first thing I do when I get up from the bed is to have Detox water.It’s so simple to make and works magical.

Mix half cucumber cut in to small pieces, juice of one big lemon, 10-13 mint leaves, small piece of peeled ginger and half glass of water. Soak it overnight, strain in the morning and enjoy your magical drink.

What better way to start your day with? It helps your skin to glow and keep your tummy flat. LOL!
